Born and raised in Alabama. Went to college at The University of Alabama. "Roll Tide" . I then started in radio in 1975 at a station in of all places, Birmingham and then Atlanta, Tulsa, Marble Falls and Fredericksburg. I met my awesome wife Ronda in 1978 and we were married in 1979. She is without a doubt, to this day, my reason for living. I was with Texas Rebel Radio from 2002 to October 2008, when we started Homegrown Americana Radio Consulting Inc. Living and working in Fredericksburg is even better than a dream come true.
