I'll just pick a few telling ones...Dark Crystal, Return of the Jedi, Empire Strikes Back, Gladiator, Braveheart, Dances with Wolves, the Lord of the Rings trio, Office Space, Star Trek2, Incredibles, the X-Men movies, Stargate, Willow, the Aliens & Predator movies, Batman Begins, and The Hobbit. I tend to like movies more for the art design than for anything else. I'm easy when it comes to sci-fi and fantasy.
House, Family Guy, Seinfeld & Simpsons re-runs...thats fun stuff. oh and the History Channel. Awesome.
