It was the time when jb2k and volker no. 1 did first experiments in rapping, writing lyrics and produce demo tracks. In 1999, sine707 joined the clique, concentrating on doing beats rather than MCing. As the line-up was complete, the band went out to public for the first time by giving out tracks that were done in a domestic environment. Some of you still remember those "gems" for sure.After numerous sessions, the band thought of doing an album release in mid 2001, production started in late 2001. Sick Clique's first album called "In yo' face" was released in march 2003, very limited at first, but due to high demand the album was re-released on the ad hoc founded label "Rough One Productions".After the surprising success of the first album, the band won the "Heimspiel"-Contest for June 2003 on the German radio station "HR-XXL" (now "You FM"), a contest for independent bands. Sick Clique started to work on their second release called "Jenseits von Hip Hop" (engl. "Beyond Hip Hop"), a tape-only release, this time with local feature MCs Ais and Six (his album: Rotlicht on Noizmakers/edel). But not only hip hop elements found its way onto the tape, also electronica sounds and pure sampling experiments were featured on "Jenseits von Hip Hop".In January 2005 sine707 contributed 10 beats to the new DVD release by the well-known German graffiti magazine "True2TheGame", among artists like Mirko Machine and Aggro Berlin.If you ask for the clique's philosophy behind this whole thing, one thing is most important for all members: fun and versatility. Sick Clique is currently on production for their third release, which will not only include hip hop, but also heavy-riffed guitar stuff, far beyond conventional hip hop music.Please pardon my french (i.e. my english typos, grammar f-ups, etc.)Nach dem sehr erfolgreichen 3. Release von Sick Men Arms über Pitbull Records brachte Volker One das Mixtape „ The Devils Reject“ raus, welches auf große Begeisterung bei den Fans stieß. 2009 brachte Volker zusammen mit dem englischen Radiomoderator Rob Fank das Mixtape: Rob Fank feat. Volker One Mixtape No. Jay " the proper boyz" raus.Wie Ihr sehen könnt macht Volker momentan Solotracks… die Hier exclusive für Euch veröffentlicht werden.
