i'm a laid-back girl who likes a nice glass of wine and a bubble bath. i also LIVE for live music and i like to walk around the city with my ipod listening to my favorite tunes. i love to dance. i love to sing. i love to write. i love to be completely immersed in nature. i love my friends and family. i'm a bit of a hippie at heart though i'm not a patchouli and birkenstock wearing cliche. i love to read and i find the simplest things in life, the details if you will, make me the happiest.this age calls for resolve and certitude, and the fire within to burn ever bright --b.c.

My Interests

anything artistic. i love music,theater, musical theater, film, painting, books,flowers, did i mention music? green people. faeries. i like the sound that different food makes between my teeth. i like the rain. fall is my favorite season. i love catching people rocking out when they think no one's watching or blasting their favorite song in their car. i especially love it when people clap, snap, or dance "on the one". i love my kitty, sid vicious, even though sometimes i wish he was a dog.

i live for music...i once actually listed it all....now you should just ask me for real. it's more than likely that i dig a band that you do.

Movies:

eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, stranger than fiction, the lord of the rings trilogy, anything by miyazaki, house of flying daggers, the princess bride, dirty dancing, breakfast at tiffany's (really anything with audrey hepburn), shop girl, over the top,life is beautiful, fight club, moulin rouge, stand by me, everything is illuminated, wayne's world, peggy sue got married, dancer in the dark, waking life, before sunrise, after sunset, tommy boy, dreams, dumb and dumber, romancing the stone, vertical ray of the sun, absolutely anything with johnny depp, mary poppins, labyrinth, ferris bueller's day off, the royal tenenbaums, sense and sensibility, bridget jones' diary, run lola run, a very long engagement, amelie, a room with a view, goodfellas, american beauty, legends of the fall, legend, in america, fear and loathing,all baz luhrman's stuff, what's eating gilbert grape, napoleon dynomite, the usual suspects, the virgin suicides, thank you for smoking. i'm just going to stop now. im a movie whore

Television:

local access channels' documentaries, rick steves,conan o'brien, sex and the city, that 70's show, ab fab, curb your enthusiasm, flight of the concords, weeds, lost....i don't get a chance to watch tv a lot, which is good. i mostly rent shows on dvd. no commercials...

Books:

anything by john steinbeck, chuck paluhniuck, tolkien, stephen king, jane austen, gregory macguire, kurt vonnegut, tom robbins, salinger, ann rice, f. scott fitzgerald, hunter s. thompson,"the alchemist", maya angelou, calvin & hobbes, even read some harry potter (the living child in me that wants to take over)...lots of poetry....e.e. cummings, kerouac, neal cassidy, sylvia plath, poe, shakespeare, saul williams, and "Memoirs of a Geisha".

Heroes:

my dad and my brother,(followed by gratuitous awwwwwwws), audrey hepburn, judy garland
