Going out, laughing, hanging out, napping, singing along to the radio, eating with friends...
I like Ozomatli, Black Eyed Peas, Outkast, and even some of the cheesy top 40. When I think back to when I had lots of time to listen to music I remember how much I liked Pear Jam, Nirvana, STP, The Cure, Frente, and The Cranberries. Man, I had a lot of time to kill in the early to mid 90's.
Amores Perros, The Professional, American History X, Farenheit 911, The Grinch, Bamboozled, Memento, Wizard of Oz and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Roseanne, Lost, Will and Grace, 30 Minute Meals, The Sopranos, Entourage, Good Eats, Big Love oh and Oprah, especially when my older-man crush is on --- Anderson Cooper. I like to watch Man vs. Wild - I think Bear is HOT!
a
Anything by Toni Morrison and Sandra Cisneros. I'v also been reading a lot about education and if I begin to mention the Education theorists, I'll get into a big lecture about education reform and curriculum and I'll take up a whole lot of space and time. In my spare time I like to reread books I read in high school and didn't pay much attention to. I've reread Tim O'Brian, The Things They Carried, Sylvia Plath, THe Bell Jar, I've restarted reading Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. She wrote The Yellow Wall Paper, best short story I've ever read!!!! I'll include more later.
