I love my job cause I love building things, but outside of that I have really broad interests. Like everyone else in CO, I love the outdoors, but I'm also real in to music and pop culture. I write, play, and listen to music in my spare time.(when I actually have spare time) I was in a few bands for a few years, and that was some of the most fun I've ever had. I pretty much like to do it all, and I'll try just about anything at least once. I'm pretty laid back, and I've been told I'm an "old soul"; I think because I sometimes like to delve into a good deep conversation. Oh, and I love my beer! I actually like it more than a lot of things I can think of off the top of my head.
I'd like to meet up with old friends that I've lost touch with, and maybe meet some new friends along the way. Oh and Lee Majors.
Better Than Ezra, is my all time favorite. I could go on for hours listing all the bands I listen to so I'll just throw a few out there. Augustana, Fallout Boy,Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard, The Format, Weezer, Deathcab For Cutie, Shaley Scott, Emery, Dead Poetic, Mae,The Juliana Theory, Jimmy Eat World, All American Rejects, Red Jumpsuit Apperatus, James Blunt, The Fray, Dishwalla, Tonic, Breaking Laces, Anberlin, Train, Live, Bob Schneider, Pedro the Lion, The Zutons, Ringside, Maktub, Joe Firstman, Panic at the Disco, John Legend, Dan Dyer, Graham Colton Band, Damien Rice, Brand New Immortals, Snow Patrol, Wheat, Angels and Airwaves, Hinder, The Postal Service, The Academy Is, Dakona, Brand New, Iron & Wine, Nickel Creek, Bleu, Derek Webb, Incubus, Ben Taylor, Keane, Guster, Flickerstick, Our Lady Peace, Nightmare of You, Ingram Hill, David Gray, John Mayer, Daniel Powter, Coldplay, Embrace, The Bravery.......... The list goes on and on.
My all time favorite is Braveheart. I like a lot of the epics like that, but stupid humor, and senseless violence is where it's at for everything else. Dumb and Dumber, Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers, Old School; Boondock Saints, Ong Bak, Snatch. Good fighting/killing scenes, and dumb tasteless jokes are what keep me coming back for more.
Love the Family Guy, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, My Name is Earl, The Office, and The Simpsons as far as sitcoms go. The Sopranos, and Lost I really like for the more serious shows.
I only read leather-bound books cause it makes me feel smart and sophisticated.
BATMAN!
