It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

About Me

..

What can I say? I'm an entertainment freak. Love music, movies, I'm a bit of a bookworm when it comes to fantasy novels. I grew up in the Northeast, mostly in Revere, MA (home of the American Bighair) I'm the first-born American in the family. Yes, I am a gringo. The rest of the fam is from Argentina. I'm a musician, if you can use that word to categorize me. I guess it's more of, a guy with a guitar who likes to play METAL!! I'm a work-a-holic, only by necessity (trust me, I'd rather be jammin' on my axe, or spending some QT with my 2 favorite girls. Colleen, my wife, and Cailyn, my daughter.)I'm a firm believer in the fact that we direct our own futures. While I will admit that things happen for a reason, it's mostly to help guide us to making decisions in life. Fate and destiny are not exactly tangible in my world. Our choices make us what we are, or aren't. Not to be too corny, but the Wachowsky's said it best through a conversation between Neo and Morpheus in the first Matrix movie: Morpheus: Do you believe in fate, Neo? Neo: No. Morpheus: Why not? Neo: Because I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.Exactly

My Interests

MUSIC! playing it, listening to it, writing it, whatever it is, I must have it! All the time. Just got back into writing. Trying to create a comic hero... trying is the operative word. spending time w/my family (my beautiful girls, my wife and daughter - and soon to be son!!) books, movies, video games, fun stuff

I'd like to meet:

living people... and maybe zombies, too

Music:

I've recently been listening to the old school Pantera NON-STOP. Those guys are awesome, fuckin' Dimbag was the shit!!! Also been listening to Psychostick. If you haven't heard them, I advise that you do, right now! If you heard some, I advise you buy it. NOW!I'm big into SOAD, Sevendust, Metallica, Staind, Cypress Hill, Wu Tang Clan, Tool, Korn, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Slayer, Audioslave, The Roots, Pantera, A.N.I.M.A.L., Biohazard, Nirvana, Green Day, Eminem, Sublime, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Sevendust, Tenacious D, Drowning Pool, Psychostick, Disturbed, Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, ... just the tip of the iceberg, I could truly go on forever, seriously

Movies:

Can't function without horror. I love the Rob Zombie movies, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. (Just something to be said about Captain Spaulding's character... is it the fear or love of clowns?) Big Trouble in Little China, The Matrix (the 1st and 2nd were amazing, the 3rd eh, the ending killed me) Agent Smith possibly the best bad guy EVER, LOTR (all 3), X-men, X2 & X3 (although I have a bone to pick, Juggernaut is NOT A MUTANT, OK I'm done ranting), Blade (1,2 & 3), the Romero Zombie movies, (mmmm Zombies), Dawn of the Dead (the remake), Shaun of the Dead "you've got red on you", Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks I & II, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, The Pick of Destiny (one of the funniest movies I've seen in a WHILE), Beerfest, Super Troopers, Snatch, Fight Club, The Harry Potter Movies, Half Baked, Dazed and Confused, Fantastic Four (even though it could've been better), Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle, ... another category where I could waste everyone's day listing all the movies that have made an impact.

Television:

I love TV animation, The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, Farscape, Dark Angel, but I have to admit I'm hooked on Prison Break and Smallville, Supernatural, Heroes (one of the best shows on TV), Ghost Hunters. Not to mention a pretty big Scrubs fan (the show is hilarious!)

Books:

one of the all-time best series of books I have ever read are the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. The man changed my life. When people point to a single moment in their lives when they can say that they were touched by an event, reading his first book would have to be it for me. The series kept getting better by the book, and I'm reading through the series again (for the fourth time! yes, that good). The next book is coming relatively soon, which I'm sad to say happens to be the last in the storyline. (please keep the thread going Mr Goodkind!!) besides my obvious obsession with Mr. Goodkind's work, I also have a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy, the last book I read before going back to the Sword of Truth stories was The Davinci Code. (it was a damned good read!) and "The Education of a Coach", about coach Belichick of the Patriots. The man is a genius! (GO PATS!)

Heroes:

James Hetfield, Daron Malakain, Jerry Cantrell, Jimi Hendrix, Fieldy, Munky, Jon Donais and Matt Bachand, Sting, Tedy Bruschi, Chris Cornell, Jack Black (aka Jables, aka JB) Bobby Drake and Logan (also known as Iceman and Wolverine) just to name a few... and of course, Mr. Dimebag Darrell
