We had such a great time!Luego de completar su cuarta gira por Norteamérica y de realizar más de 100 conciertos, el Sexteto de Jazz Afro-Peruano de Gabriel Alegría toca en el Perú por primera vez. El grupo se ha presentado en escenarios en más de 50 ciudades Norteamericanas y en los festivales de IAJE. La última producción discográfica se encuentra actualmente sonando en más de 200 radios a lo largo y ancho de Norteamérica. A la fecha los sencillos “Summertime” y “El Norte” han llegado a los puestos 1 en Radio Latin-jazz Alternativo, 11 en World Music y 32 en Jazz a nivel Norteamérica.La crítica especializada, incluyendo las prestigiosas revistas Downbeat Magazine y All About Jazz, han caracterizado el sexteto como algo nuevo, innovador y único en el mundo: “el mejor disco del año” según Radio IO. El Sexteto ha merecido comentarios y notas publicadas en el Los Angeles Times y El New York Times entre muchos de los periódicos más importantes de los Estados Unidos.
