The Power of the Lion started out in late 2006.It was a one man noisecore project put together by Jeremy Cody, he played a few shows one with Ghengis tron,Gaza and Ed gein and another with Carbomb and Last chance to reason.Before long Andrew Gammill was asked to join doing subsonic vocals to add to the mix.Tpotl then did many shows playing all over florida and putting out four eps "open mouth insert grenade", "Dead Letter", "Chuck Norris" and the "Godzilla on Acid" ep which had minimal copies made.The band took a break and revamped adding Sandra and Dylan and a new format of music,new songs,still having the noise and experimental side to them but adding more oldschool grindcore and death metal with some black metal influences.The Band has signed a small deal with local Florida label Hidden Hand Records and will have an ep out soon with their new material and will be heading out on tour and more tours later on.
