About Me


Steve Ward is a trombonist/composer/teacher currently living in Toronto Ontario. Ward is in the Jazz Performance Masters program at the University of Toronto. Currently Ward is studying trombone with Terry Promane, previously has extensively studied with William Carn, Rupert Price, John Jasavala, Bob Fazecash. Ward is currently studying composition with Andrew Downing and arranging with Rob McConnell.
His Current projects are
For When You Get There a Groove based Electro-Acoustic Improv Ensemble featuring Nico Dann, Damian Dobrowolski, Jay Merrow, Anthony Rinaldi
