Dr. Dre, Compton, Creshaw Blvd., big bootie hoes, and malt liquor....more than likely rap music. I love electronic music as well...always an eclectic attitude.
An infectiously beautiful woman who is intelligent, classy, and isnt afraid to show her sexuality... Hunter S. Thompson... My Dad's Dad... probably Scotty Too Hottie... more than likely will Ferrell.
The eclectic collection begins with: - Outkast - Dr. Dre - 2 Pac - Eminem - Atmosphere - Nas - Panic! At the Disco - Fallout Boy - Gym Class Heroes - Brand New - The Used - The Strokes - Hot Hot Heat - The Postal Service - Deathcab For Cutie - Coldplay - Nine Inch Nails - Funeral For a Friend - Matchbook Romance - Senses Fail - Dave Matthews Band - Taking Back Sunday - DJ Tiesto - Paul Oakenfold - Ferry Corsten - Paul Van Dyyke - etc. etc. This list is not limited to these few artists when there is a large amount of unheard, unknown, and artists rising into the spotlight every year. I would also like to recognize my friends who have created a work in progress project with their careers since high school: Gary Beaudette (Fig Mutant), Nick Arguello (NikFuq), Brandon Lozano (Cobalt), Reggie Rucker (B.V. Bridges), Joey T (for the amazing rhythm and bass, highs and lows that he provides for most of these guys).
I can appreciate a dramatic movie, an infectious comedy, or a ghetto/gangster movie that portrays the life of a character struggling in his own environment: Goodfellas, The Godfather, Casino, Boondock Saints, Pulp Fiction, Life as a House, A Clockwork Orange, Shawshank Redemption, Menace II Society, Training Day, Vanilla Sky, Cape Fear, Crash, Boyz N the Hood, New Jack City, Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin, Airplane, American Psycho, etc, etc. I cant possibly fill in a complete list that is comprehensive, but this will do.
Television is good for one thing...boring ass reality television. I despise cable because of its total infatuation with the invasion of people's lives. However, I do enjoy watching anything associated with the UCLA Bruins and the Food Network, Discovery Channel, and the History Channel.
"I have thought this way several times in my life but only when circumstances have led me to a bad pass. No man who has chosen well and wisely will ever credit it to fate; the only real fatalist is a man on his way down the pipe. There is no solace in fatalism. A believer is robbed even of the pleasure of shouting, 'Fuck you, I quit,' because he knows he was born a quitter and it would be only a matter of time before he threw in the towel, surprising no one, not even himself." - Hunter S. Thompson Songs of the Doomed: More Notes on the Death of the American Dream.
I would faithfully follow someone whom has made something out of their life and portrays that quality in all that they do. I admire my Mother and Father. I admire those who love unconditionally, whom get hurt, and still love unconditionally. I WOULD admire a President of the United States if they could enact what they project in their candidate speeches.
