OK so here it is.... My story...
Melbourne boy, all the way. Gun Footy star all through school. Drafted by the swans at 17, but blew my ankle out third training session. Career over. Brushed it off and hopped behind a guitar. Got good. Real good. Real quick. Saw an add in a local rag, for a bassist. Thought I'd have a crack, even though I didn't own a bass. Headed down to Cash Converter's on the way to the audition picked myself up the best bass available in the $70 price bracket. Learned how to play on the train to Kooyong. 4 hours, 18 smokes, 2 blisters and a sixer of draught later I'm the bassist in some rock band called Jet. Yeah that's right Jet. Played 2 gigs in Hawthorn. Pretty shit, so I gave em the arse. Bad call looking back. But no regrets here. Just another step closer to my true calling.....
