Sound Sculptors

About Me

It all started between a ceramics teacher and a student that connected on another level, a love for music. Soon there was a club every Thursday at lunch in this teachers room, bringing in drums, and in they would come. The phenomena of this group was to amazing to hide in the closet next to the kiln covered in clay dust, so they took the act to Xhedo's coffee shop in Ferndale, born as the Sound Sculptors. The group has lasted for years with young talents of all sorts coming through and expressing themselves in the most pure way. The group continues today, with another troup of music lovers, and the same teacher that started it all by bringing a drum to school one day, and starting something truly amazing. An era of sculpting not for eyes from the hands, but for the ears from the soul.
