Been on this musical journey for over two decades. Started out accidentally on this journey but with the mentorship and friendship of my musical big brothers Steve "Silk" Hurley( who continues to show love and give guidance even today) and Cordell Johnson and my musical uncles Lil Louis and Frankie Knuckles, it has been a wonderful excursion that has taken me to the UK, Germany, Africa and most recently Beijing and even Dubai! (Not bad for a brother from the South Siiiide of Chicago).Big ups to Marvin Terry (Marvin Terry Promotions) for believing in me when I was still in high school (Whitney Young Class of 85) and putting me on all of those now legendary parties - Bismark Pavilion, Blackstone Hotel, Ascot Hotel, Hyde Park Raquetball Club, etc.)Nuff love goes out to the Frazier brothers for giving me a chance to be the first resident jock at COD( yup, got it going before Frankie just for the record) and of course Gerard for putting me on at Marz Bar back when!Respect goes out to guys that I played with a couple of times before my exodus overseas like Tyree Cooper(vas ist los herren in Deutschland?), Leonard "Remix" Roy (now making the 24th Dimension his home - ya' leg!)Andre Hatchett, Wayne Williams, Alan King (Chosen Few), Pharris Thomas, Lil John, Boo Williams, Steve Pointdexter (Wall to Wall Sounds abck in the day), Olumide (you my man and 50 grand), Timmy and Jerry Mcallister and last but not least Chris "CCA" Avent (3 Faces) - guys that are still relevant to Chicago's and moreover the world's vibrant house scene. Mega dap to the living legend in DC/MD/VA Sam "The Man" Burns who rocks that part of the country like nobody's business for ALWAYS showing love to me anytime I pop into any dance he is rocking. Props to the newest members of my extended musical family Quest One , Eric Levan and the rest of my new family at the label I am proud to call home - Soul Elevation Music -Orlando and cats like V-Rod,Dj Snooze (Snooze Prods.), Enoch is Real (KNOC radio), Karizma, Glenn Underground, Craig Alexander, super dj/producer K. Alexi, FLX, Chicago Sound Source and no doubt my south Florida family - Andre Soul (Soul Simple Entertainment), Sela V and Chilly (my Conscious Collective Crew family), Dj Chris (No = Entertainment) and of course the Aquabooty (www.aquabooty.com) and Lust (www.lust4house.com) camps.I would be remiss if I did not shout out (yeah, I know,they don't do shout -outs) but i can-and do - to Tom Joyner and Hot 105 FM for leting me rock the Bon Voyage Party for the TJMS Fantastic Voyage for the last 4 years and of course, Big Ups to the Bad Boy of Radio , Mr. Michael Baisden for showing me much love on the show so often and ALWAYS making it a point to come to our Steppers sets here in south Florida and supporting!Just know that I am addicted to all kinds of music-every song is programmable into the mix-like a fine meal at a five star restaurant-it's all in the presentation.
