I am here for Friends

About Me

I was the product of the physical, spiritual & (eventually) the marital union of Ana Maria Moctezuma and Jorge Ceballos. My brother, Oliver, and sister, Alheli, are the only other offspring from said union.I was born in Santa Cruz, CA in 1969 and consider it my one true home though I was reared in Davenport, CA until the age of four.At an early age I was interested in three subjects that, even to this day, continue to be integral parts of my life; these are my fondness of music, television and pornography.HA! Just checking if you're paying attention! The final subject being, of course, comic books.Although of Hispanic descent (15/16 parts - Aztec & 1/16 part Chinese on my mother's side and nearly 100% Spanish blood on my dad's) I have no Mexican Culture nor Mexican Pride and have no interest in pursuing it.English is my language, and although I know how to speak Spanish, I speak it very badly and with a Gringo accent. For some reason, some Mexicans are offended when I speak Spanish...whatever.It was rather early in life when I noticed I was different from other Mexican kids: the other kids didn't speak English as well as I did, their speech was extremely vulgar (in English AND in Spanish) and all they wanted to do was play soccer.I hate soccer. For someone raised on the Brady Bunch & Happy Days, with a twist of Electric Company thrown in, the differences were too much. I preferred to spend time by myself, or my brothers, than subject myself to the discomfort of their company. My parents chose to live in predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods most of my childhood (financial reasons, I believe), because of that, whatever social interaction I had with kids who I could relate to was done exclusively in school. Once I got back home, I'd go read, listen to music or watch TV.In high school I started to hang out with friends more than before and I learned how to party hard. Booze being my preferred and most accepted, by my parents, drug of choice.Santa Cruz High School was the breeding ground for some of the best friends, and equally worthy acquaintances, I could ever have. The list includes (but not limited to); Ramon & Hugo Cornejo, Mico Acevedo, John Korte, Rob Land, John Devilleres, Pete Schwab, Jorge Hernandez, Sherry Brown, Chris Krietz and John "Grandma" Burnette (God rest his soul).I started attending Cabrillo College after high school, but I had a tough time since most of my friends didn't continue their studies. Instead my dad got me a job at his company and I've been in the workforce ever since.I have worked at Campbell's Mushroom Farm, Silicon Systems, D.H.Morgan Manufacturing, San Lorenzo Lumber & now, Big Creek Lumber. I've also worked at several places I'll like to forget.I have never married nor had children but I am currently in a loving relationship with a woman named Rachel Thompson who has a son, Trevor, from a previous relationship. In recent news, Trevor has adopted a black cat. It was originally named Curious George, but we had to change it because the name didn't roll off the tongue very easily. Once my suggestions of 'Frankenberry' and 'Butt Cheese' were vetoed, Trevor decided to call him Spike. One thing I’ll tell you about Spike...his farts STINK!!!!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I don't bore easy and don't have a problem being alone. My grandma makes the best tacos in the world, although, technically, they're actually burritos. My favorite fruits are oranges, plums and ripe bananas. I dislike my grandfather. I drink alone very often, but not to excess...who am I kidding, of course I do. I'm one of the whitest, brown-skinned guys you will ever meet. The first black person I ever saw in my life was during the first day of first grade; I still see Mike Keller around town. My favorite foods are sushi, pasta and rice. I get physically ill when I hear people refer to Julia Roberts, Sarah Jessica Parker or Misha Barton as attractive. I would love to play poker with Jennifer Tilly. I once called James Holiday "Donut Butt" in sixth grade around a bunch of kids and he didn't try to kick my ass (thanks James!). The animal I'd least like to be is a maggot. I wouldn't mind being the alpha male of a pride of lions. I build walls around me when I am angry; the walls fall when my anger subsides.

My Blog

Kinda sad, I think.

A sad thing happened to me last night.   I had not been home for very long when I heard a knock at my door. At first I assumed it was the kid next door, Devonte, but it wasn't him; it was his au...
