Aiming to further an already prominent career as a DJ/producer, Terry Jasinto recently moved from Seattle, Washington across the country to Miami, Florida.
During the last decade Terry played an instrumental role in the development of Seattles underground dance music and club scene. He helped shape the regions sound by being involved as a DJ, music producer, events coordinator, record store manager & buyer, and in artist development. He is recognized as a beacon of industry knowledge, known for his creativity, professionalism, passion for music, and amazing mixing skills. These traits earned Terry numerous top Seattle club residencies - including the legendary after-hours events SuperHighway, Usual Suspects at Contour, and Oasis Sunday mornings at Habanas; Also Dedicated Saturday nights at Seattles largest venue The Showbox; and of course Swirl Underground - host of the regions most notorious progressive house club events at the Aristocrats. Terry was also one of the pioneer resident DJs for www.Groovetech.com, which streamed live DJ sets from Seattle, San Francisco, and London to Internet listeners worldwide.
Terrys talent and unique style also earned him regular bookings at some of the largest clubs and events up and down the West Coast including special guest DJ at the wild Other Whirled and T-Dance parties on numerous holiday weekends at San Franciscos legendary The End Up (the mecca of underground SF house since 1973!); headlining at Club Sonar in downtown Vancouver B.C, Canada; and playing to a crowd of 16,000+ for Eclipse at the Stadium Exhibition Center in Seattle to name a few. Since moving to Miami 3 years ago Terry has also been featured during the Winter Music Conference at various events every year since.
Terrys storybook style of mixing records has been described as the perfect hybrid blend of house music. Dark drums dominate his sound, with emphasis on complex bass lines, percussion, and atmosphere, thus providing the dance floor with a soul filling and thought provoking experience. He is well known for commanding a versatile range of music spanning from deep to tech to progressive house, for his very long mixes and detailed programming so the music he plays makes sense on the dance floor!
Terry has shared the stage with some of the most sought after DJs and producers. Among this long list (detailed in his full bio), he has recently been showcased with progressive innovators such as Deep Dish, John Creamer, and Sean Cusick. And house giants such as Doc Martin, The Hardkiss Brothers, Donald Glaude, and Gene Ferris.
Turning more attention to the studio producing his own music Terry has decided to go back to school to study audio and recording engineering. He also recently remixed Cause and Effects Into The Light for their forthcoming and first worldwide release since 1997, The Sunrise EP. Terry is also preparing several of his own original tracks to be released later this year, with one planned for a fall release on his new label Swirl Underground Recordings.

About me: I don't like to talk about myself (at least not anymore)...Lets hear about you......................................................... ......................................... Ahhhhh..... fu*k it............ A little bit about myself. Besides being a father and soon to be husband I really enjoy music. So much so that I started to DJ more than 11 years ago. I decided that I liked music even more so recently, that I started going back to school to study Audio Engineering so that I can be a music studio engineer. I like music so much that I make up a lulabye to sing (more like hum) to my daughter everyday. A big step from just humming them in the shower when I wake up in the morning. Trust me. I'm a far cry from being American Idol material. I was born and raised in Seattle Washington. I lived there for 29 years or so (30 years if you count the time in my mom's womb). My upbringing is continuing here in sunny, hot, humid and sticky Miami Florida. I love the beach. The ocean has a way of cleansing the soul (I guess it's also good for your skin).I work on the beach as a bartender during the day but I haven't set foot in the ocean in months. How ironic. It's so easy it is to take something for granted! I do miss Seattle sometimes. The cold, the rain, my friends and family and the great times. Especially since Sofia my daughter was born. But being here in Miami has helped me re-invent my life so that I could move on to the next phase of it. And so far so good.... I'm a pretty simple man who can be complicated at times. If you know me then you will definetely know where you stand in my life. So keep your place whatever that may be. A friendship with me means that we're friends for life....
BTW I'm not a true Aries. I'm a cusp baby being born on April 19th (AKA The Cusp Of Power). So that makes me an Aries Type III which is an Aries with Taurus tendencies. My Taurus traits are very apparent in my personality. My rising is Libra and most importantly my moon is in Scorpio. So watch out!!!!
