About Me

I don't know if its possible to fully describe yourself through words. I'm out going and spontaneous. You can never quite predict what I'll say or what I won't. Routine bores me, as do people who only speak with socially polite banter. Life is too short to live in the past. I dislike the cynical and pessimistic crowd and believe optimism is essential. I spend too many mornings drinking coffee and gazing out my window. Unexpected moments of love, laughter, and mishaps are what make life sweet. Often is the round-abouts, loopholes or "taking the long way around" that teach us the best lessons and reveal a new layer of courage within our hearts. I like to surround myself with fighters; people who don't give up on their dreams and constantly strive for more. I admire people with patience and those true friends who you can call at 2AM. I love meeting new people and getting to know someone's heart beat. Honesty is precious. I'm genuine and real, passionate about life, music, and writing. Autumn is my favorite season. Carmel apples, newly sharpened pencils and shades of amber on the trees bring a smile to my face. I have an amazing family and feel incredibly blessed. Music has been imprinted on my heart and its within me wherever I go. I have been playing the piano since I was 4. Down to earth and living on the lessons of life, I follow on this journey. I'm a deep thinker and try to savor life to the last drop. I thrive on traveling and experiencing new places. You can catch me in a corner cafe, sipping on coffee, and scribbling away in my journal. My relationship with Jesus is a daily walk in my life and I'm learning how to become more what He wants me to be everyday.

The Gamble

Masks

Same scenario, different disguise. The person has changed, the mask the same. How many times must one to see the sunset to remember the color of its rays? Are we doomed to make the same decision over ...

Rainy Shores
