MY AIM IZ LILPIXMUSIC!!!!LIL PIX is an aspiring producer/rap artist from Manton, a small urban section located on the Northwestern Side of Providence, RI. He officially began his career in music at the age of sixteen years old by producing and recording music for an independent label, which he co-founded, called p-city records. He has co-produced and helped release six music projects within his first three years with that label. These projects include one album, two singles and three mix tapes: “The Struggle 4 Lifeâ€, LIL PIX’s 2004 single “We Stay Realâ€, LIL PIX's 2006 summer buzz hit, "Slide N Step", “The HUSTLE vol.1â€, “The CRANIUM: Mix Tape File 007-24†and K STAR’s “The GOSSIP vol.1â€. Aside from co-producing these projects, which all sold out throughout the Southern New England area, LIL PIX has done a variety of different performances in and outside of the state of Rhode Island. Some of these venues include industry sponsored shows, clubs, talent shows, festivals and several colleges. Club Mirage in Providence, the Black Festival 06’, the Black Repertory in Providence, Snookers Lounge in Providence, Rhode Island College, the Jamaican and African American Festivals. Also, as the opening act for the 2005 Beat Down Records Showcase at The Columbus Theatre, LIL PIX was featured on a DVD special, which was in stores in Southern New England. In March of 2008, LIL PIX along with K Star, Booz, Hard Hitta and DJ Sincere, performed at Club Rebel in Manhattan, NYC in one of Master Moo's A&R listening parties. Besides Rhode Island, LIL PIX has managed to get his voice heard in places such as Ohio, Boston, Connecticut, Louisiana, Honolulu, New Jersey, Vermont, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Miami. He also managed to get decent amounts of several projects he worked on in other countries like Nigeria, The Bahamas and the Dominican Republic. Getting radio play is also another career accomplishment that LIL PIX is responsible for. In the summer of 2006, LIL PIX produced and released a single called, “Slide N Step†and managed to get this song regular airtime on 95.5wbru, a Rhode Island radio station. It was aired every Sunday night during the month of September 06'. Due to illegal activity that was taking place at p-city records, LIL PIX left this label and has been pursuing his music career on his own. LIL PIX advises anyone serious about there music career not to get involved with p-city records because the head of the label isn't adequate in what he claims he's doing and will try hard to steal your music and trap you in an extensive contract leaving you with no creative control over your music. Aside from that very minor set back, LIL PIX is currently working on his solo debut album called, "THA 401 COME UP". Besides productions by himself, LIL PIX has productions from Booz of Booz Productions from Providence, Russ Blaze of B. Cool Muzik from East Providence and Cam Carl Productions. As far as features go LIL PIX will have features from a large variety of artists all over the New England area. These artists include K STAR and her ArtaBlaze Ent artists such as Hard Hitta, Marvelous, Bandit, Young Los and a few more artists From Providence; DJ Sincere, Reggie Blaze from Boston, Frank “Richie†Fetti from Boston, Mike Biggs of Ground Up Ent. From Boston, Chris Brydon Monchery from Providence, Scrilla from Providence, Winni from Providence, Young Money Mitch from Providence, Yung JA from Providence, Drumz from East Providence, Kabir of M.A.A.D. House Ent. (Money And A Dream) from Boston, Mont Vallz of The D.E.E.P. Crew from East Providence, Genius of X.M.E. from Boston, Nerocys of The Regiment from Providence and many more. LIL PIX's debut album, "THA 401 COME UP" has no scheduled release date but will b announced soon. Besides his solo project, LIL PIX has worked on several other projects recently such as K Star’s “Gossip vol.2†and Hard Hitta’s “Blowin out ya Speakers vol.1â€. In time, the full musical capabilities of LIL PIX will be shown.
