SYMBEL is about darkage England and the philosophies that have survived into this modern culture from those people and times.One full length CD was released in 2003 on the label then run by fellow English act FOREFATHER. 'We Drink - Hymns and Counsel of AngloSaxon Heathenry' is 36 minutes of heathen metal music. Only a 1000 were pressed and it is hard to find.Interest in the project prompted a re-release of rehearsal room demo recordings such as the excellent 2005 'Wet English Forests' 10" vinyl put out by Jon of Midhir Records.2007 saw a new release of rehearsal room material on the limited CD 'Ale Whores of Mercia'.Symbel will release a new album in 2009.Thank you.
