An early form of The Program was formed in late 2004 by Fintan Dawson and Jordan Brown when they would throw together little songs and call themselves 'Schmuck'. Things never really went anywhere and practices would last five or so minutes before resorting to recording eachother terrorising cars and eachother with werewolf masks. Things progressed when Joshua Watkins agreed to sing for them and they pursuaded Luca Deltadesco to drum. They were pretty good, covering mostly Green Day songs. However Luca was never available to practice so they replaced him with Alex Gordon. But after a short while he and Fintan fell out. Fintan's musical career quietened for a few months while Josh, Jordan and Alex continued under the name 'Handmade Villan' with guitarist Michael Rennie. Things fell apart though, as they do. Alex, Rennie and Jordan formed a short lived band some time after, but nothing came of it.
It wasn't long until Fintan and Josh were forming a band again, this time for proper. They called in Peter MacDermott in on bass and got Dominic Learwood to sing.
Practices were long and drunken.
Lyrics were mumbled and un-recognisable.
Songs were fast and sharp.
And bass lines were completely random.
But then again; Things fell apart, as they do...
