***************************Joseph has been part of the Mexican dance music scene for over 6 years now, and in his early years under the name CHILLY WILLY was one of the driving forces in the hard house / hard trance scene in that country.His potent and dinamic style quickly earned him a place with the now Los Angeles based BURN PRODUCTIONS (www.burn-productions.com)the creators of Radio X 102.5 in San Francisco. During this time, he shared the stage with the likes of OBERON, DARREN SHAMBALAH, THERMO BEE, LOGIC BOMB, TALAMASCA, POL HABIF and JAY ELL just to name a few. His trajectory as a Dj in Mexico at one point earned him numerous residencies at some clubs in Mexico such as the PALACE and ESCAPE LOUNGE.Since then, Joseph has evolved his style and brought down the BPM's to a funkier more melodic style of house, and has as well, ventured on his own, with SKY FACTOR PRODUCTIONS, run by himself and the also notorious DJ C. Since its inception in 2001, Sky Factor has already been responsible for bringing djs Like MARIO PIU, MISS HONEY DIJON (Most Wanted Djs) and HATIRAS, to the Mexican dance scene.
Joseph is also the brains behind the once well known JUICY THURSDAYS,an all funky house night staged in clubs like SHIVVA and the PERVERT LOUNGE, one of the longest running underground clubs in Mexico.JA has also gained experience as a Producer/Remixer and audio designer. His credits include remixing work for EL INTENTO a Latin acid jazz band, Audio design for various clubs in Colombia and the latest remix, "CRACKING COMPACT" on FIVE CENT STAND'S new album "BITTER KISS"(www.myspace.com/fivecentstand.)
Joseph has recently ventured even further, by expanding his skill to include scratching and "turntablism" with a profesional certification from the TECHNICS ACADEMY in Manchester UK. This has in turn ,expanded his musical style into break beats, and funky breaks.After graduating form the School of Sound Recording in Manchester and School of audio Engineering in New York Joseph now functions as a Recording Engineer and Producer, working as head engineer at BRAVO STUDIOS in Houston, Texas(http://www.myspace.com/bravostudios);as well as continously working on his independent production.For more of JA most recent projects, you can also see:
