"2006"
Triathlon training is once again in full swing, which means I'm either in the water, on my bike or running around somewhere each day, everyday. This year I'm concentrating on half-Ironman distances with my first major race at Wildflower (Lake San Antonio) and I have an eye on the Vineman Half-Ironman to hopefully qualify for the championships in Florida later this year.
Also ater on this year I hope I'll get the chance to swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. That's right! How many people do you know can say they swam from the Rock? Not many, which makes it even more enticing.
I refuse to give up my body to the detrimental trend of which most thirty-somethings are headed. Who really wants problems with blood pressure, cholesterol level, obesity, asthma, and diabetes? Why wait for your body to tell you that there's something wrong with it? You live only once; live it.
