Movem Entertainment was created and incorporated in 2004. Originally it contained 4 equal owners who were all good friends. For their own personal reasons, 2 of them left the company. The remaining 2 are the original idealists L. High the Nome (Leins R. - Writer, Producer, art designer, feature artist and a bugged out individual but in a Ren and Stimpy kind of way). The second is Mr. Alvarez (Francisco A. - Turntablist, Businessman and record collector possessing around 2000 vinyls; quite but up in your face with business talk). ************************************************************
**** The Nome started free-styling in 1992 then began writing lyrics one year after. He started his 1st crew in 1994 with a great M.CEE named PED3 (Youre still one of my favorite writers Eddie P). The group was properly named Children from the W.E.L.L. After 2 years PED3 moved away but The W.E.L.L continued under the control of Nome till 1998. In late 1999 The Nome met Mr. Alvarez at Carl D. Perkins Job Corps in Prestonsburg, KY. (Hows life CDP brothers and sisters!!!). Unknowing to each other, they were both residents of Miami, FL. Sharing the same love for music and especially the diversity of genres, the 2 decided to get a company started. ************************************************************
**** In 2000 they purchased a MPC 2000xl, 1 Keyboard and a mixer. They graduated college in 2002 and drove back to Miami to get things started (Well, actually, Mr. Alvarez did most of the driving because poor little Nome drank too much Everclear 190 proof the night before. Good going guy- some things never change!!). In 2004, incorporation papers were signed in the office of their business lawyer Jason Roodoff (Keep up the good work buddy). By late 2005 they completed the 1st project Brave New World with the engineering help of Brian Wolfe (Youre the shit with sounds, maybe one day we can work without a contract, just keep behaving Mr. Wolf with an E!!). Today (4/20/06) the company is 2 years old and growing. ************************************************************
****The music developed is basically a pot of gumbo (MMM that sounds good gimme some!). After sitting down with these 2 guys over a cup of English tea (Nome slipping himself a Mickey and Mr. Alvarez looking at him in disgust) Ive come to detest and respect EM2 at the same time. ************************************************************
