CHAOS CONSPIRACY - Mastering New Album

The Chaos Conspiracy’s project started on September 2003. The italian outfit is influenced by post hardcore, noise, alternative and dark attitude that gives to the songs their unique mood. Furious screams with constant melodic attitude, explain the ironic and revolutionary episodes.
2004 The band released the critically acclaimed Promo that gave them the chance to be featured on the “Rock e Contaminazioni 3” compilation (on Sana Records) .
2005 the band will be busy with a lot of live appearences thanx to Fuel Booking’s action together with a management deal with Alkemist Fanatix . On November 2005 the band release their debut album “Out Of Place” UK label Casket Music/Copro Records (Earthtone 9, Fony, Vacant Stare,GF93 …)
2006 The video for the track “Red Mask” will be submitted to all relevant TV channels (MTV, Rock Tv, All Music…). In august 2006 the band initials an agreement with the american label “Liberation Records” (Anti Flag, The Queers…) to distribute in U.S.A. the album “Out Of Place”. In october 2006 for a line-up change Mirco “Trump” Marmorale becomes the new band singer.
2007 During year 2007, the evolution of the project brings the band to a final decision of not using any voice, focusing more on disxonnected rhythmic structures and on sharp accords and landing in to new sperimental territories where the groove is one of the most important elements.
2008 The release date of the new album has been planned for the end of 2008
E’ una violenza meditata, un impatto ragionato, un’aggressività incanalata con acume quella dei Chaos Conspiracy. Non è il vulcano che erutta ma la lava che si solidifica dopo l’esplosione: d’altronde un nome del genere – una meticolosa scienza del disordine – non fa che riflettere un’ organizzazione tipica del post-hardcore. Il quartetto beneventano è spiazzante: ci si aspetta una paurosa botta alla Rage Against The Machine e i ragazzi vanno altrove, studiando il modo di essere taglienti e secchi, possenti e rocciosi facendo anche del buon funk inserendo sprazzi di elettronica e trip hop, accenni new wave. Il gruppo ha scrutato dentro di sé e ha osservato fuori, così nasce la rabbia, l’indignazione, l’esigenza del cambiamento.Una girandola di sfuriate e raptus ritmici che all’improvviso si tramutano in uno smarrimento ai confini della psichedelica visionaria, le chitarre abbattono i loro muri per sfilacciarsi, fino ad infiltrarsi in costruzioni spigolose vicino a certo math-rock.

Benevento, the band formed only just over 2 years ago, but have since had a massive impact on the Italian HardCore scene! I mean, these guys are really versatile, and unafraid to use influences from HardCore-strange styles such as Dub and Funk! The drummer wouldn't riduculize himself playing with a seasoned (Free) Jazz band, both bassist and guitarist could play Dub (Reggae) without flinching, the bassist could even do some Funk, for sure! The guitarist is a weirdo case all on his own, mixing over-the-top NoiseCore with near-acoustics and less distorted licks, played with a diversity of effects (delay, echo, etc...) and also mixing several playing styles (note-fucking, riffing, 'experimental' shit). In the last week, I must've listened to the 10-track (43-minute) album at least 10 times, and still I haven't had óne moment where I was thinking, "Okay, I've heard it, let's move on to the next album to be reviewed!". Nah! In fact, listening to thís album has caused me a certain delay in delivering those other reviews! With that in mind, you shouldn't be surprised to find the album in my 'Best Albums Of 2005' list! 99/100
