I am a drummer/composer/educator based in Brookline, MA. I have played and/or recorded with the Detroit/Ann Arbor based progressive/alternative rock band Ape 7, Boston based circus band Cirkestra (Cirkestra "Alice" CD available through www.cirkestra.com and CDBaby.com), Boston based roots rockers Lemonpeeler and Boston based free improv ensemble Third Nipple. I also do freelance work and have played with local songwriters such as Michael Hayes and Micah Howeson, worked in local music theater productions (Wizard of Oz, Little Shop of Horrors) and played all the percussion parts on the soundtrack to the film Darkon. I currently perform with Tamandua, The Boston Jazz Trio, Colin Stack & Novelty Act, Daniel Bennett Group, Ra Quintet and Ben Bogart Jazz Collective. I teach at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, Brookline Music School, Page Music Lesson Center, and give private lessons. I am a faculty member at the National Guitar Workshop summer sessions in New York. My composition for string quartet "The Rainbow Path" will be featured in the upcoming short film "Rochdale".
