whateverlife.comI was a shallow high school cheerleader who was informed by a man named Merrick that I had been chosen by fate to battle the undead. I reluctantly undergo training in my abilities by Merrick, and as my responsibility as the Slayer causes me to become alienated from my valley girl peers, I find friendship and romance with fellow outcast Pike. Merrick eventually comes to respect my rebellious nature, and I defeat vampire king Lothos by relying on my own comtemporary style as opposed to traditional Slayer conventions. I begin to accept the responsibilities and dangers of my calling as the Slayer after moving to the small Californian town of Sunnydale. I become best friends with Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg, and meet my new Watcher, Rupert Giles. Together, we form the Scooby Gang, and work together to battle the various supernatural occurences which plague Sunnydale High. I battle the villain known as the Master, and was drowned in the process, but was resuscitated by Xander and rise to defeat the vampire. I continue to come to terms with my destiny, find forbidden love with the benevolent vampire Angel, and clash with new villains Spike and Drusilla. I lose my virginity to Angel, an event which triggers the loss of his soul and unleashes his evil side. His sadistic alter-ego, Angelus, proceeds to subject mental and physical torture. I was forced to reveal my identity as the Slayer to my mother, and send my boyfriend to hell to save the world. I then leave Sunnydale in the hopes of escaping my life as the Slayer. I reconnect to my calling, my friends, and my family after my departure, as well as make difficult life decisions regarding my relationship with the resurrected Angel. I must also deal with the introduction of rebellious new Slayer Faith, who becomes increasingly destructive and disloyal. I was forced to stab Faith to save Angel's life, and lead my classmates into a climatic battle against the demonic Mayor of Sunnydale. Angel then leaves Sunnydale in the hopes that I can have a more normal life without him. I balance my Slayer duties with my new life as a college student at UC Sunnydale. I experience some difficulty adjusting to college life, and become increasingly disconnected from my friends, who all seem to be moving in different directions. I eventually find a new love interest in the form of Riley Finn, a soldier in the demon-hunting government task force known as the Initiative. I briefly join forces with Riley's team, until we discover that one the Initiative's experiments, Adam, is creating an army of demon-human hybrids. I literally unite with my friends to defeat Adam in a spell which invokes the power of the First Slayer. I battle the hell-goddess Glory, and fully embraces my destiny for the first time. A younger sister named Dawn mysteriously appears in my household, her existence having been seamlessly integrated with the memories of the others. I suffer emotional turmoil including the realization that Dawn is not actually my sister, the deterioration of my relationship with Riley, and my mother's death from a brain aneurysm. While on a quest to learn more about my nature as the Slayer, I was told that "death is my gift", a message I had difficulty understanding until I sacrifice my own life to save Dawn's by diving into Glory's interdimensional portal and closing it. I struggle with depression and loss after being ripped out of Heaven by my friends, who perform a spell to bring me back from the dead. Forced to take a mundane and degrading job slinging burgers at the Doublemeat Palace, I begin suffering from extreme depression and self-loathing, embarking on a violent sexual relationship with the vampire Spike which leaves neither of us satisfied. I was forced to battle my best friend when Willow becomes psychotic with dark magicks and tries to destroy the world to end all pain. After Xander gets through to Willow in the end, I promise to change my self-destructive behavior in order to be there for my sister. I develop a new perspective on my destiny, power, and womanhood, when I was confronted with the threat of the First Evil. I become a reluctant leader to the Potential Slayers, who are initially respectful of me, but become increasingly more alienated by my tactics and decisions. I form an unexpected friendship with Spike, who has sought out his soul in an effort to prove himself to me. I share my power with my fellow Slayers before leading them into an epic battle against an army of Turok-Han vampires. As Spike sacrifices himself to save the world, I confesses my love for him, before escaping Sunnydale's destruction with the surviving friends. Angel and a resurrected Spike travel to Rome to find me, where they learn that I was now dating the Immortal. I was not living with the Immortal in Rome but is now the leader of a global organization which recruits and trains Slayers to deal with demonic threats worldwide. However, a mysterious group led by the masked villain Twilight believe that the Slayers themselves are the danger, should they begin to consider themselves superior to mankind. I share a lesbian encounter with fellow Slayer Satsu; however Satsu leaves soon after because she realizes I cannot return her feelings.A Whole New World - Sweet 202
