I paint madly.
I have drawn and painted since I was old enough to hold a crayon and deface the walls of my childhood home. (Hey I thought it looked great! My father wasn't amused.) I wanted everything to look "REAL" from as far back as I can remember so I have always striven for realism in my drawings and paintings (traditional) and now that I am painting digitally and doing photomanipulations, as well as using incredible art programs to paint right on the computer screen, its truly a dream come true for me. I love art in all its many forms. I also sculpt (when I can bring myself to cut my nails... vanity!). I've written books and mounds of poetry.I am a direct descendant of Marie LaVeau on my mothers side of the family. Yes, its true. If you don't know who Marie LaVeau is then you have never been to New Orleans. Just go to Google!I am OBSESSED with BASEBALL and have been all my life. My father was selected to play for the Cinncinnati Reds, but on his way to Spring Training got another kind of draft notice... one from his country to fight in Vietnam. So my father was the first generation in his family not to play professional baseball. Sound crazy? Maybe but its true. I'm writing a book about it called "When Baseball Is Blood" because in EVERY generation of my fathers family, there has been AT LEAST one professional player, along with many Minor Leagers and Scouts from the time it became a Sport. The photographs are just amazing. Wait for the book! :)I guess that is enough about me for now. If you have questions, by all means ask. If its too personal I just won't answer you. Fair enough?
