Biography
Riding on the domestic and international success of her debut album “Queeni presents…Sunday Morning”. Queeni just recorded her sophomore album “Grateful” LIVE at Harmony Ministries USA, Inc. Lakehurst, New Jersey. This highly anticipated score is scheduled to release July 2009. Grateful is a testimony in song that no matter what you go through or where you are in life to always be “Grateful”. Queeni is a talented singer, songwriter and actress who began her career singing with local bands and groups and has shared the stage and toured with The Temptations, Cheryl Pepsi Riley, Alyson Williams, Joe Pace, Donald "Buster" Woods, Harlem Gospel Choir, Donnie McClurkin, Melinda Watts, Nancy Jackson-Johnson, Marcia Sapp, Benita Farmer and many more. Queeni has performed at countless venues throughout the United States, Italy and Korea. Queeni’s highly anticipated debut release, “Queeni presents...Sunday Morning” written by Queeni and music produced by, Stellar Award Nominee, Darin “Piano Man” Whittington created an undeniable buzz both domestic and internationally. Queeni had several songs in radio rotation on WKMB 1070 AM Harvest Radio, WRTI 90.7 FM Ovations with Warren Cooper and many internet radio stations like “What Is It About Jesus", “I Praise You”, “Send Me” and "With Open Arms". Queeni was featured on Minister and Friends sophomore release “The Ministry of Music" performing “Let’s Have Church” and she wrote and arranged "Lift Him Up". Queeni received honors for her songwriting from Billboard's 14th Annual Songwriting Competition as one of the top 1400 writers for "With Open Arms", Billboard's 15th Annual Songwriting Competition Honorable Mention for “Send Me” and "What Is It About Jesus" was on Gospel Truth Magazines compilation CD Volume 29. In 2007 Queeni founded “New Jersey Praise”, a group of talented background vocalist of various ages and experiences. Queeni captivated audiences with her debut performance in the leading role of First Lady Alexis Ginn, in the Head Of My Life Productions play “First Lady” written/Directed by Carmen Davis. Queeni can be found singing where ever there is an ear to listen and a heart open to receive Gods divine word. Queeni has again teamed up with producer Darin “Pianoman” Whittington, Stellar Award Nominee, Franklin “Bubby” Fann infamous for "Judah Prayze" and introduces a new producer, Daniel Grant for her sophomore release.
