About Me

Hmmm, so who am I? While I'm still starting to figure out more of that question right now I do know I'm a country girl in a small town in the Catskills with big photographic dreams! This is partly why I attended the very expensive RIT. Ironically enough now that I have the degree things are more complicated. The whole "do something with it" aspect comes into play. While there are several hurdles on my list, the first is saving money and paying off some of the loans. ie live here until I'm officially just about out of sanity.... Though it's not always a picnic I am learning a lot about myself while somewhat "stuck" at the moment. I miss lots of things about my old life but have come to realize in many ways I was "stuck" in a sense there too. I wasn't progressing towards anything. Now I feel like I am. Anyway now I'm just rambling blog style more so than profile... I'm very laid back and easy going. I'm independent and spontaneous, I strike up random conversations with strangers if they seem interesting. Life is too short to not investigate things or people you're curious about. And I know what they say about what happened to the cat...but I'm more of a dog person anyway! I'll try anything at least once. I get along with most anyone I meet except for those that throw around the holier than thou attitudes. These people I have no use for. I believe in being genuine, honest and that it's important to have a good sense of humor and being able to laugh at yourself. I tend to talk a lot (yes I can tell you're shocked!) but I've been told that it's ok because I am also a very good listener. I have it on high authority that I'm "good people!" I also have lots of random movie quote knowledge in my arsenal. I love anything vintage clothing etc. I collect lots of old random things. I'm a bit of a pack rat and find uses for things considered to be useless! I'm also a firm believer in sarcasm. I was sort of raised on it. Congrats if you've read this far you do not have the attention span of a fish.....;p

My Interests

QuOtEs oF tHe WeEk: "Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." - Will Rogers
