The real me. I'm nothing special. I like football, I like doing stuff for people and the local community. Involved in coaching a bunch of local kids for Leamington Brakes FC (U11s team) with Geordie Steve Wharton . When I get the time I like to travel and explore. Recently went to Berlin. Fascinating place. Couple of years ago traveled to Brazil and Argentina. Would love to return. But would also like to travel around these shores a bit more. I feel like I've neglected old blighty somewhat...
Football I do like to be involved in football. I play (badly) with a thriving little group twice a week and also I participate in my local club as a fan. Thats Leamington FC. I also am passionately involved with AFCWimbledon. Not a fan of watching it on TV, prefer to meet the varied loony characters who gather and use it as a bit of social thing. Made some VERY good friends. You know who you are (when I stop paying you, will you stop leaving weird phone messages :) ) Before I go into the dullard details let me clear something up. Due to circumstances out of my control, I support wholeheartedly TWO football clubs. Leamington FC and AFCWimbledon. Its a total shared love and I see each as much as possible. If they met in a game, it would be a weird hell like joy. I'd have to hope for a 0-0 as I couldn't cheer any of the goals.
Fanzines I work on two fanzines whilst not doing other things. The fanzines are Windmill Wonderland and the Womble Underground Press. Both are in conjunction with fellow fanzine nutcakes. Its deffo a team effort. I just can't get enough of our little A5 booklet. All proceeds go to good causes. One of which you can see somewhere below. With the Womble Underground Press, we saved up £3k to buy and get officially licensed the Womble known as Haydon. Elizabeth Beresford (Womble creator) herself chose the name and allowed it life. Haydon now visits local kids hospitals and with Dean inside brings a LOT of smiles to kids faces...
