Short biography
I'm Chwhynny Overbeeke, born in The Netherlands on September 29th 1983. At a young age I started producing music, starting with European happy hardcore influenced by artists like Paul Elstak, Dune, Scooter, Blümchen, Das Modul, Sunbeam, Marusha, RMB, and Raver's Nature. A few years later I was introduced to UK hardcore and became influenced by Force & Styles, Brisk, Hixxy, Sharkey, and lots of other artists.
At the age of 14 I became a member of several tracker groups such as Ravers Of Unity and Essential Music. In 1999 I joined Mp3.com and started producing melodic trance and hard trance as well as hardcore. In 2001 an older dance track called "Keep The Faith" featuring me on vocals made it onto a compilation CD.
Early 2004 I signed to the UK hardcore label RFU Recordingz with "I Am". A few months later I became a core artist with the label, alongside Cube::Hard (formerly known as Stargazer), Darwin a.k.a. Deeper Territory, Fracus, and Nu Foundation. Since then I have also worked with Gammer, Lost Soul, Orbit1 and Ruffage, amongst others.
In 2008 I also joined Hardcore Underground as a core artist and label copy manager.
My production styles include breaks, freeform, happy hardcore, UK hardcore, melodic trance, and hard trance, with a bias towards 1995-1996 style piano-driven German and Dutch happy hardcore.
