A message from Craig, the Owner.
Well, the news that we have been waiting to reveal is that we will be changing our team name. This means a new site, as well as a lot of other new stuff. A new logo, a new slogan, new members, new management, maybe a new location. Many changes are taking place in the month of December, much more work than last year.
Now, if you're wondering as to why I am doing this. It is very simple, and I will tell you. If many of you didn't know, Team GS was formed several years back. Some of the members on the team were on the old team which was called the Underdogs for many years before Team GS. When our local GameStop decided to support us, which they lied about, we had to change our name to support them and corporate. But that soon would be useless after a year, when we left GameStop. And they soon closed down after a year when we left them.
The change is to give our team its own identity and recognition they deserve. Plus, it's a way to start a new slate, as well as to use a more marketable name, logo, and slogan. Team GS is already known as the biggest pro gaming team based in Southern California, with 20+ members on the team. And it's still growing. It also has one of the best records for a team in its rookie season, and the season's that followed. Team GS consist of members who can topple the top pro's in Major League Gaming's (MLG) Pro Series, as well as contend in World Cyber Game's (WCG), and in the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) or CAL; also known as Cyberathlete Amateur League.
Now that was a bold statement for my team. But I believe it to be true, and I am not afraid to prove it. This is the best team I have ever seen. The relationship they have outside this team is extraordinary and makes me smile. I'm glad to have a team where everyone can get along. Now that's success and a true championship team. I'm glad to know all of them, and to have led them under this banner. But now it is time to move on, and become even greater under our new banner. As well as make a permanent impression on people and the world with this new team. I will always cherish my memories with this team, and Team GS. I will take what I have learned with Team GS, and use it to create an unforgettable team.
