I feel the cold chill of terror hold me in its grasp. Or was it something I ate?

My Interests

Learning new things...it doesn't necessarily matter what...but the thirst is great. I have to be stimulated. Now!! Pass that bottle of emphemeral knowledge please.

Merci..

I'd like to meet:

The people who I've known and thought about over the years and those who I've lost touch with. I remember you well and I miss the things I've forgotten about you and our time together.

To the people I did not know, but have thought about and been moved by your artistry. Thank-you.

German music fans who speak English. French pop music fanatics.

People who really enjoy / get-off/ on electronic music. You know you're out there. You know what your friends said when you showed up at their house with the latest Pan Sonic or Biosphere CD...but you didn't care. Okay...so it was an early night and you went home alone...again. Don't worry...sprinkle that collection with a healthy dose of pop and you can almost fool anyone.

Music:

Electronic / experimental music of all kinds...including the myriad o sub-sub-genres (Post-Industrial-Ambient-IDM anyone???).

German pop / rock music (Klee, Toni Kater, 2raumwohnung, Silbermond, Wir Sind Helden, Nachlader) even though I don't speak the language.

Modern pychedlic bands like the Psychic Ills...

Saint Etienne. Prefab Sprout. Indochine. She Wants Revenge. New Order. 24 Hours. Retro French music (ye-ye)

I enjoy making soundscapes and electonic music on the computer. I'm not sure my mother and co-workers...and kids...and wife, would call it music....but I think it is!

Movies:

Big horror fan (and that does not mean science-fiction or fantasy). On the other hand, gentle slice of the life films(Local Hero, Chaos and Desire)grab my attention..

A couple of french films were my favourite last year - In My Skin (Dans ma peau) and They Come Back (Les Revenants).

Television:

Buffy was my favourite of all time. Currently Veronica Mars...and Sin Cities (Ashley does suffer for his art)is a lot of fun. MI5 (Spooks).

I don't think television is that terrible actually.

Books:

Short stories .... horror, of course. Music books - artists and creating. Non-fiction.

Heroes:

Jacques Cousteau. Harold Budd. Brian Eno. Wendy Legare. My parents and Anne (she's totally inspirational)
