The Bad Trio is made up of pianist José-Miguel Yamal, bassist Thomas Helton, and drummer Richard Cholakian. They bring a refreshing new sound to the jazz trio format, incorporating many styles and sounds. The Bad Trio is currently recording their first cd which will be available before the end of the year. They have sometimes been referred to as the 'jazzholes'.
