I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am currently working as a registered nurse in the operating room. I LOVE my job and my coworkers! I am the luckiest girl in the world--I am married to my best friend (who is not too bad to look at). We moved into our new house the beginning of April, and I still can't believe it's ours! The neighborhood has a pool, so that is where I will be with my margarita all summer long. We just got a black lab puppy, Hunter, and we have a chocolate lab, Hudson. They are like my children...I can't wait to come home from work and see them

My Interests

I love sleeping in, shopping, going out with friends, and seeing my family. I like to run & workout, Landon and I signed up for a marathon in February. We will be running the Huntington Beach Marathon in California. I'm scared but excited, this is a goal I have wanted to achieve for so long, I can't believe I'm actually doing it! I love running with Hudson, he's good for about 5 miles, then he is begging to go home. I love to travel, and our next trip is to Puerta Vallarta, where I will happily do nothing but lay in the sun, drink margaritas and go to Tara & Dave's wedding. I love decorating our new house and trying to keep our flowers alive, I didn't know there was so much work with a house, I love it!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who has been or is in the military, just to tell them how appreciated they are.

Music:

Depends on what mood I'm in, I'll listen to anything.

Movies:

I like all kinds of movies--except I won't watch a scary movie without Landon, its torture.

Television:

My favorite TV show of all time is Law & Order (sorry to Landon and all of my past roommates who HATE this show and had to sit through it with me!!) I like the Discovery channel and HGTV, man I am sounding older and older every day! I also like all of the reality shows on MTV and VH1, except for Surreal Life and I Love NY, can't stand those shows.

Books:

I love nonfiction books, they always make you feel so much smarter after you read them. The only other kind of books I read are scary or suspense, and occasionally a nursing textbook, just to make sure I know what I am doing at work!

Heroes:

People who have the drive to change and make their lives better.
