Seriously, I am interested in life. I like experience, and want to experience everything this world has to offer. This includes all music, all religions, all food, all drink, all drugs, all women; okay maybe not ALL women, but you get my point. I like learning new things and inventing new ideas.
this is a tough one... well I would love to meet with all the great thinkers, philosophers, writers and scientist of the ancient world to semi-modern world, like Plato, Milton, Shakespear, Neitchze, Napolean... you know all those that helped shape the world we have today one way or another but sadly time travel is impossible... so i guess I'd like to meet people that have a mind of their own and can appreciate everything life has to offer, like literature, religion, music, or simpler things like a quite sunday afternoon with nothing to do.
I have such a wide taste of music nowadays that I don't even know where to begin. I play metal, which I guess is my favorite style, but my favorite band is Led Zeppelin probably. It's either them or Pink Floyd(i love acid!). I also like some country/bluegrass; I can't quit listening to Nickel Creek lately. I love soft alternative stuff like Ben Harper, Sublime, Dave Matthews, etc. And I even like some rap as long as its not the usual money, bitches, and shootin niggas type of rap; that shit is so played out.
My taste in movies is less broad than my taste in tunes. I only like unique movies; Movies that really stand out. Besides the ones above I like a lot of horror. I like movies that make you think like What Dreams May Come. There's know telling me I would like a movie because you never really know.
I hate TV because its being taken over by "reality". If I wanted to see reality I shure-as-fuck wouldn't look for it on VH1! But I digress. I enjoy watching educational TV. NatGeo, Discovery, History, History International, the Science Channel and other channels that give you information that you didn't have before watching those channels. If there is nothing on ANY of these channels late at night then I watch Adult Swim; or the X-Files.
I love reading. I rarely get a chance to read, but I still love reading. Mostly I read religious book; notice I said religious and not christian. I read scriptures and commentaries from various religions. I have read the Bible, Quran, Gita, Dharamapada, Most of the vedas and Upanishads, and lots of supplemental material to these. I also read a lot of new age spiritual/psychological/philosophical/magical books. As far as fiction goes, I stick to classics mostly. Dante, Milton, Shakespear, you know the greats, Poe. When reading newer novels I tend to enjoy horror/sci-fi/fantasy the most.
The only heroes I have are the great people in history that changed their entire worlds point of view. Moses, Jesus, Mohammud, the Buddha, the original seers that heard the vedas from the universe, Lao Tzu, Socrates and the long line of philosophers that followed in his footsteps, Freud, Jung, and the list keeps going. I don't Idolize anybody, I only admire certain traits of certain individuals that change the course of history in some grand way, because I hope to one day embody those traits and help people just like they did.
