Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens

About Me

One of my favorite quotes is "To the world, you may just be somebody, but to somebody you may be the world." Isn't that a great saying? I love it. Anyway, I'm from Pensacola - born and raised! I went to FSU for 4 years (Go 'Noles!) and am at UWF now. I am in nursing school and would like to travel for a few years after I get my degree. I have an awesome brother and sister (in-law). I have two fabulous nephews.

My Interests

I absolutely love to play volleyball. I can't just sit and watch a game without getting the urge to play. I also love soccer, watching movies, travelling with family and friends. I have always wanted to bungy jump and this past summer I got the opportunity to in Las Vegas. I absolutely loved it and want to go again! It was such a rush to just let my body fall forward off the platform. It goes against everything we are taught as children. You know, "stay away from the edge"...etc. And to actually let yourself go.......wheeuuu!!! That's all I can say!

Music:

I love rap and r&b, but I also love to listen to oldies - Marvin Gaye, Beatles, Elton John, Earth Wind & Fire, Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin.....the good stuff.

Movies:

There are just too many to name. I would have to say that I like girlie movies, action, and scary movies the most. Some of my favorites would have to be Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, French Kiss.

Television:

I absolutely love Everybody Loves Raymond, and I'm depressed that they are all reruns now. My family and I also love to watch American Idol. I think I love it so much because if I had a voice, I would be in a band or something. I enjoy watching the auditions. They are hilarious.

Books:

I am not much of a book reader but the most recent book I read is The Da Vinci Code. It's very good. I would suggest it to anyone.

My Blog

Work, work, work

I'm so ready to get out of here! I have one more hour of work and then it's time to par-tay!!! Friday night baby and ready to just relax with the girls. Woohoo!
