I was born in Merseyside, UK; grew up in Spain and I'm half English and half Fiji/Indian...I lived in L.A. for about 13 years.
I started playing guitar when I was about 7 years old in UK.
When my family moved to Spain in 1981 I started playing the electric and got my first Strat...it's been Strat ever since!
I moved to L.A. in 1990 where I went to GIT for a year.
I played the L.A. club scene for a while and joined forces with Willie Base in Blacksheep
After recording my first major record, Fredericksen/Phillips in 1993 I joined Mike Tramp's band Freak of Nature with which I toured for a number of months in Europe. After the tours I remained in Spain for a year and improved my Flamenco guitar playing.
Upon returning to L.A. I formed KuDeTa with Ricky Phillips and Jeff Scott Soto. We did some shows around town but never released a record.
Shortly after that, I recorded Elements Of Friction with Ricky Phillips on bass, Tommy Aldridge on Drums and Robin McCauley on vocals.
While in L.A. I also joined Azul with Randy Castillo on drums and Paul Blazek on percussion...this led to my meeting Carmine Rojas and forming Ziroq with the addition of Tal Bergman on drums.
I also played flamenco guitar for Steve Stevens round about this time which led to recording a track on Bozzio/Levin and Stevens.At present I have a production company in Spain and I'm working on music for TV, Film and commercials.
