Hmm..about me? What is there to say? I'm a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist. I currently work with the US Olympic Speedskaters/Inline skaters, and I have my own business that is doing very well.
I'm also dating the most amazing man in the world, Mike. No one makes me happier. He keeps me smiling, and makes my day brighter. He supports me in everything I do, and believes in me more than I do myself at times. His touch makes my heart beat faster and his very presence makes me smile.
I'm a strong minded and very independent individual. Once my course is set, nothing can sway me. I strive to be happy in my life. I'm happy with who I am, but I still have a few kinks to work out. We all do. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's what we do with those that define us. I have learned from my mistakes and I am stronger and happier for them. I never want to hurt people, but I've learned I can't keep hurting myself while supporting everyone else.
I'm happy and generally optimistic. Life throws us lemons, and we make strawberry lemonade. I believe in not just making a situation better, but adding whatever I can to make it the best it can be for myself and everyone else.
When it rains, it pours...and we can either drown, or dance between the raindrops. I choose dancing.
I think situations through thoroughly before deciding upon a course of action, assessing and analyzing the matter carefully. I always come to a fair, reasonable, and sensible solution to whatever confronts me. But at the same time I approach life very instinctively and am not always fully conscious of why I feel or act as I do.
I am very strong-willed, but intensely private and not easy to know well. When I want something, I go after it rather quietly but insistently and woleheartedly - and I usually get it.
I'm very intuitive about other people and especially about their unspoken feelings and hidden motives. I usually have strong, immediate gut reactions, either positive or negative, which prove to be correct.
I'm rather cautious, sometimes even suspicious, until I get to know and trust people - and trust doesn't come easily to me.
I'm attracted to powerful, fascinating personalities. I'm a steadfast and patient individual, capable of tremendous devotion, dedication, endurance and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick with things is one of my greatest assets. Once my course is set, I pursue it tenaciously until it is completed.
At heart, my needs are simple and I'm easy to please. I have a strong desire for security, stability and peace. I'm not very demanding emotionally and usually maintain my poise and equanimity.
My mind operates in a very deliberate and methodical manner, and I don't like being rushed or forced to give an opinion before I have thoroughly ruminated and digested the idea. And I'm very difficult to influence once my mind is made up.
So there you go - a few things about my nature. If you can't tell - I'm a Taurus. haha
