My Interests

THINGS I LOVE:
My husband, Music, God, that free will exists, that I have the foresite to learn about my fellow man instead of rushing to judgement, great wine, better champagne, getting fit in spite of myself, awesome restaurants like Cha Cha Cha's, Nirvana, or The Melting Pot (yum!); flowers that I didn't expect; kisses in the rain; the way my kitten always manages to cram herself between my feet when we are sleeping; naps in the sunshine on my deck; Vosges chocolates even if I HAVE to share; spiders that are DEAD by my hand; old movies on a huge screen with a tray o' gnosh; looking at the chalk drawings by little kids on the last day of the Italian Street painting festival; that friends are the best thing in life outside of love.

THINGS THAT BITE:
FLAKING ON YOUR FRIENDS!!! Everyone has a cell phone these days, but NO ONE has the cahones to call and cancel; Misplaced anger; people who blame others for their lot in life; busy bodies; presumption based on fear; PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE. YOU ARE UPSETTING FIZZGIG.

THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF WHY...

cheap well vodka; Skinny Cow ice cream substitute; RAV4 drivers in general (at least in my neighborhood); being pretentious, fake or mean for no reason; blowing smoke, be it in my face or up my ass; gentle, timid souls who don't advocate for themselves or those they care about; the fashion challenged; potholes on my commute that you could hide an army of midgets in.

I'd like to meet:

My dad for drinks to find out if Heaven rocks..plus check in on Elvis, Mother Theresa and such...I suppose there are folks on here for their own agenda, so NO I don't want to see your undie web cam and NO I don't have all the answers to life's burning questions.

Choose wisely and treat respectfully the ones you love. Evil people are out there. Payback is a bitch and a half. But true love does exist and will show up when you had no idea it was coming. While you wait, you can purchase really cool clothes and accessories at my the shop my friends own!!! See Below:

Music:

ECLECTIC. THAT IS MY MUSIC STYLE.

BAD APPLE – WHO SAYS GIRLS CAN'T ROCK IT!!

PLEASURE SEEKERS ROCK THE HOUSE!!

FERRAS - YES, PLEASE!!

Ah the lyrics...

'Let's play Twister, let's play Risk, see you in Heaven if you make the list...' - R.E.M.

'Fat bottom girls, you make the rockin world go round...' - Queen

'Lend me some sugar, I AM your neighbor...' - Outkast

'Did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?' - Pink Floyd

'There's definitely, definitely, definitely no logic to human behaviour, but yet so, yet so irresistible...' - Bjork

'And I'm not sorry, it's human nature. I'm not your bitch, don't hang your shit on me.' - Madonna

'Oh Wah Ah Ah Ah...' - Disturbed

Movies:

Hard and wrong to choose: have 500 in the library right now, but to name a few:
Old school:
Labryinth; Legend; The Lost Boys; The Princess Bride; Private Benjamin; Spaceballs; Tron; Valley Girl; War Games; Willow; Witches of Eastwick; Young Frankenstein; Zorro, the Gay Blade
"Michael, you don't have to drink it...it's blood...Yeah, right...""
Great story or nostalgia:
12 Monkeys; American History X; Run Lola Run; Revenge; Unforgiven; Wedding Singer; What Dreams May Come; What's Eating Gilbert Grape?
"Der...Derek! NO!!!!"
Laugh your ass off:
Army of Darkness; Blazing Saddles; A Christmas Story; History of the World Part I; Stripes; Shaun of the Dead; Silver Streak; Team America World Police
"You see this? This is my BOOM STICK...""
A good cry:
The Constant Gardener; Mr. Holland's Opus; Benny and Joon; Hotel Rwanda; Life is a House
All time twisted:
Angel Heart, A Clockwork Orange, Frailty; Kalifornia; Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil; Permanent Midnight; Raising Cain; Requiem for a Dream; Saw; Seven; Stigmata; Straw Dogs
"And now for a little of the old ultraviolence..."
"Then... something happened. I was lost in oblivion -- dark and silent and complete....."

Television:

Current passion is "24", mostly do to the parallels with our existing creepy heads of state. Also love House, Rescue Me, Jericho (back on!), Scrubs, Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (that bitch is nuts).
I am an admitted American Idol viewer. It is that train wreck fascination with the road not traveled, although I did audition for Star Search once and ended up in the bottom 60 out of 3,500. LA is just not my town...

Books:

THE MISSING PIECE MEETS THE BIG O; INSPIRATION SANDWICH; EAT MANGOS NAKED; THE TEACHINGS OF DON JUAN; RUNNING WITH SCISSORS; I really need to slow down and read more...

Heroes:

Real people that don't always choose the easiest path. They usually have the best tales to tell. Folks that have fallen down, got back up, dusted off and find a better way. Life is beautiful when you actually live it.
