Thanks to the diverse production style of JauZ, the group's music can take you from THE realities of drug infested street corner, to a reggae dancehall concert to a krunk club down south and still have you end up in between that sheets with that special or not so special someonenow that's a journey!!! 420 is comprised of a host of individuals from different backgrounds that share a common struggle, history, and goal in life. Stemming originally for the Maryland/DC metropolitan area, they are now scattered all throughout the U.S. Each member is obligated to do what they have to do for the advancement and well-being of the entire team, even those that have passed on or incarcerated. The Three core members are LION HEART (reggae artist), JAUZ (rap artist/producer) and AWOL (rap artist). Since their arrival in RI in early 2001, they have brought such a unique style of music to the RI underground scene that, fans are eagerly awaiting the next big move for this talented trio. "We make grown folk music", says Awol. "We make the type of music that all can relate to, rich, poor black or orange. We express there is in the human experience and it's always done from the heart". The group has opened up for ground breaking artists such as Spragga Benz, and r&b group, 112. They have also done shows at various universities and colleges such as Johnson&Wales, Rhode Island College, Brown University and University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Club performances include Century Lounge, Met Café, Jerky's, Platforms, The Green Room and the Living Room. In 2003, 420 and BigDreamerz Ent. joined forces with a mission to leave a solid imprint on the mainstream music industry. With the union of 420 and Big Dreamerz Ent., one can only expect Big Things to come about!
