The name's Whitney McCurdy. I am somewhat of a romantic, but on the realistic side (the hopeless end tends to lead to heartache), a fledgling objectivist (looking into the wonders of Ayn Rand's mind), a little narcisistic and a tad egotistical (I'll admit it; I think I'm pretty damn great). I believe that "There are no coincidences; only the illusion of coincidences." (quote courtesy of V for Vendetta). Everything happens for a reason, and there is a lesson to be learned in everything that happens. I'm not afraid to go out with myself and have a drink and shoot some pool or play darts, though I do get some looks sometimes. You might say I'm something of a loner, and I'm a girl with a gypsy soul. I'm a fan of guns, and enjoy shooting them, but only at non-breathing targets. And I love dark chocolate more than...well, I love dark chocolate a lot. Other than that, I just like to have a good time, be it enjoying my own company or with other people.A quote to live by: "People think that a liar gains a victory over his victim. What I've learned is that a lie is an act of self-abdication, because one surrenders one's reality to the person to whom one lies, making that person one's master, condemning oneself from then on to faking the sort of reality that person's view requires to be faked. And if one gains the immediate purpose of the lie--the price one pays is the destruction of that which the gain was intended to serve. The man who lies to the world, is the world's slave from then on."
