The Procession

The Procession are a alternative/rock/indie quartet with an unrestricted sound intent on knocking down the constraints of musical genres.

All four members have varied influences, resulting in a no-boundaries approach to musical creation, each contributing a different flavour resulting in a fresh and exciting sound.

The energy, variety, and enthusiasm of The Procession combined with the likeable charms, personality and power of the songs, and a passionate live show, have paved the way for strong reviews and support slots with household names.

In 2009 the band won an internation song writing competition fending off strong competition from thousands of other acts, and have recently signed to an independant record label. The debut album is currently in the recording stages with a release planned later in 2010. Watch this space!

Influences! Were influenced by many things - sometimes musical, sometimes not.... Musically I guess youd look to The Pixies, Nirvana, Fugazi, Pink Floyd, ... oh to hell with it. I hate the whole idea of listing our influences - as if what we listen to makes what we play. and besides - we might be influenced by almost anyone or anything - I refuse to tot out anymore famous cool bands to try to impress anyone, and thats that...
