About Me

Profile Edited by Html-Codes.com MySpace EditorJust a classy gal with a wild streak. And though I may look proper and a bit conservative, that's only a consequence of my professional life (so tragic, really). So yeah, no more pink hair or multiple flesh-mutilating facial appendages, no more pseudo-punk clothes or black lipstick. I'm actually currently looking to better society because I'm still young enough to be completely idealistic. I love arsty people. I love people with alternative ways of viewing life. I'm generally restless, so I tend to move around a lot and am always seeking new stuff to experience. I've never been a groupie. I'm not an obnoxious drunk. In fact, I'm far more obnoxious when I'm sober. I quit smoking. Then started. Then quit. Then started. Then thought about quitting again. I abhor bad grammar, yet love writing in sentence fragments. Like this. Please don't write to me if you don't use periods and don't capitalize the word "I" and don't write in complete sentences. I hate doing laundry, so I'm always buying new underwear. At last count, I had something like 53 pairs. If you don't find this odd, I'd like to hear from you.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I love passionate people. It doesn't really matter where the passion lies, so long as it's there. Right now I'm pretty much looking to make new friends to add to my circle. I'm too young to be boring, so I like to get out when I can and actually do stuff. And when there's no such stuff to do because I'm just a poor state worker, I still enjoy good company, good conversation, and witty, intelligent banter. OSex starved kids and Young Republicans need not apply. I am not looking to add "virtual friends." I don't care about accumulating make-believe profiles of people I'll never meet. So write me first before you request an add.

My sexuality is not for sale.

I know that I moved my blog to the other site, but I figured that this little tidbit is far more appropriate in myspace-land. So here it is:  What is UP with all these people who flaunt their sex...

Sluts.

For about a month sometime in May and June, I completed a paper titled, Until Death Do Us Part: Is America Ready for State Sanctioned Group Marriage.  As the title indicates, I was arguing eith...

HELP me with a sex question!

Ok, so it's not wholly a sex question. But I needed to get some attention.I'm going to be writing a paper. My thesis is that the state should sanction multiple marriages (i.e., recognize polyamorous r...

Fair use.

For weeks now I've been telling a friend of mine that he's simply too tall to talk to. As I sat watching "When Harry Met Sally" tonight on TV, I realized that somewhere along the way, I'd stolen that...

There's nothing wrong with autonomy.

I was looking at a friend's profile and came across the quiz "What Stereotype Are You?" Always looking for new ways to procrastinate, I took it. The result? I'm a loner. In high school I was mos...

Need v. Want

I've been in a somewhat introspective mood lately, in large part do to the recent surreal developments in my life. In the past two weeks I've had the same discussion with about five different people ...

Infidelity can be funny - or at least ironic

Those who know me know about my categorical aversion of married men. In case you haven't heard it, it goes something like this: "It's not that I care about the wives so much. I'm just too good to b...

Justice isn't fair.

The notion that "justice" and "fairness" are synonymous is ludicrous. Justice is NOT fair. Justice dictated that that homosexual sodomy was a crime (Bowers v. Hardwick). Justice dicated that separa...
