My name is Jennifer and I live in Phoenix with my husband Norm, (who I affectionately refer to as "Normie", "Pooh", "Honey" or "Papa" depending on my mood), my son Dakota (who is a brilliant 12 year old mad-scientist in-the-making with a great, dry sense of humor and the prettiest blue eyes Ever), my daughter Emily, (who is 6 going on 26, sassy, sharp-tongued, quick-tempered, and so cute it's painful sometimes), and our 2 dogs (Rose and Mousse), 4 cats (Isis, Moonie and Precious, and Zotzkala) our 2 African Grey Parrots: Gracie, (who loves to yell: "Emily! Go to your room! 1....! 2....!) and Elijah, Lucky, our little macaw, and the rest...(more birds and fish, God help us.)
I work for an emergency children's shelter here in Phoenix taking care of kids who have been abused, abandoned and neglected. I love my family and I love my work, I am blessed to be living this life!I am scrapbook crazy, music crazy and have started taking belly-dancing classes (oh so fun but oh so painful).I have lots of friends here in AZ that I am grateful for, and so grateful too for my childhood friends that still remain close to my heart and stay in touch. I always say, I love my friends that I have made as an adult because they don't know "Jenni"...the kid me. But I love my lifelong friends, because they do.
