One of Virginia's best and sought after producer and pianist, Marcus A. Stanley (MAS) tells his story and ministers through his music with every note, with his Classical R&B/Orchestral sound he calls “Kingdom Music.†Brought up and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, a city like all cities that has its negatives and positives, MAS chose to take his music to the positive side to bless all that listen, with influences from the old school like Quincy Jones and Oscar Peterson and influences from the new school, such as Joe "flip" Wilson and Marcus Johnson, which inspired him to creating an independent company called No Weapon Productions ASCAP, that consists of seven writers and MAS as the producer and master mind of the music.MAS is the “New Sound†when it comes to the music industry. He has been a publisher with ASCAP since 2004. MAS excels as a studio engineer, keyboard player, writer, composer, and an arranger for Rap, R&B, Classical and gospel music. He has worked with various artists such as Donnie McClurkin, C Breezy, Damon Little, Micah Stampley, Marvin Sapp, Teedra Moses, Day 26, Cherish, J Moss, Bad Boy ENT., Pleasure P. etc… and has performed in a list of shows, including International showcases as well as three ASCAP showcases. MAS speaks and ministers across the U.S. doing the will of God. His life has been dedicated since 2002 to saving and ministering to people of all ages and encouraging them to DO GOD NOW and not later because tomorrow is not promised.MAS is strongly known for his intense live performance, sharing the music that God has given him to reach people of all ages, and his expedient work in the studio. He has written, recorded, mixed, and mastered his cd entitled “An Instrument Of Praise†in a two week time frame. This master piece contains over 75 minutes of instrumental piano sounds of hymns and worship from beginning to end and there is much more to come.
