About Me

I was born Robert Garrison Elliott, but Ive been called many things over the years. Im often called Bert. Some call me Bertram, while others simply use Trum. You might know me as the owner of Bert Elliott Sound, Inc., or remember me as Fleegle, Mr. Arpeggio or Gazpacho.
This site is to introduce you to Garrison Elliott. That would be me. Woody. Or Robert E. or Horn man. Believe it or not, the new moniker has nothing to do with a persistent psychological disorder. Nor is it yet another attempt to escape paying a debt to society. Its just that my new CDs, "Ive Got My Fingers Crossed", and "Letters Never Sent" are very important to me, and a significant enough change in my career that I feel merits a new name!
"Ive Got My Fingers Crossed" is snappy, warm, honest, and the reviews have been very flattering. It takes you on an uncommon journey through the American songbook. The tracks are filled with great performances by some of Atlanta's best musicians with guest appearances by Christian Tamburr on vibes, and guitar legend, Earl Klugh.
"Letters Never Sent" is my second CD and is all original, and a complete departure from the previous "Swing" theme. Please take a few minutes to browse around, take a listen, and if your moved to drop a note, i promise to reply.
