Well, I'm a big fan of Theology and Philosophy. I'm going to live in Ukraine when I get out of school, so that's a big thing, and with that comes Liliya, I'm pretty interested in her. I love to play bass guitar, guitar, mandolin, and piano, although I may not be particularly good at some or any of them. I love to do all those random weird things that us college folks are so prone to... like dressing up as Michelangelo and terrorizing the neighborhood.
Well, there's no real modern day special somebody that I would care to meet, the ancient world is where it's at for interest and facination. I would like to meet the Apostle John because I think that we have somewhat of a similar mindset, and Joshua, who is my namesake, and the greatest leader of all time in my opinion.
It depends on some things, but it's safe to say that I like not cheesy rock that usually come from the polar opposites of the genre. I really like really soft and chill stuff, and I really like underground hardcore/metal stuff. So I go from Cool Hand Luke, to Zao, to Blindside, to Damien Rice, to Five Iron Frenzy (who is not hardcore or soft, but a good band none-the-less)
I've always liked the stuff that's as far from reality as possible. I used to like Water world and Escape from LA, for instance. I'm a bit ashamed to admit that actually...
Oh, no question, there's just nothing good on anymore. What I mean by that is that I don't really watch tv anymore, so I just assume that everything on it is some kind of conspiracy crap.
Well, there is no book that has the depth of the Bible, so that's my favorite. Apart from that I like Sylvie and Bruno, any Calvin and Hobbes book, The Neverending Story, The Horse and his Boy, The Last Battle, The Great Divorce... pretty much anything that has deep philosophy hidden under simple structures. Those are the works of the masters.
He who is able to justify is a hero for all, and he who is able is Jesus. If that sound cheesy or whatever, ask me about it. I can at least make it sound less like a copout.
