About Me

I remember right before my Son was born, my Dad said to me "Now you will have a purpose in life." I wonder if that's what he thought when he became a Father?* My favorite person in the whole wide world is my Son******** ***I am a survivor of Necrotizing Faciitis (commonly known as the flesh eating bacteria) a rare strain of strep A. The first time this awful disease hit me hard (May 17 2005) and I was very near death. I spent over a month in the hospital, having a surgery every 48 hours (14 surguries) I thank God everyday for letting me live to raise my young son and letting me keep my arm (it looks like a shark took a bite out of my left arm and it was sewed back up) It hit me again(necrotizing faciitis) in January 2006 but I caught it before it got really bad (I knew the symptoms)and only spent a week in the hopsital. I am so thankful everyday to be alive and to have such a wonderful husband and the best family and friends in the world. (My Mom and Sisters are my BEST friends) My Dad and Brother are always with me and in my heart (they are both in Heaven) I have a Dog and 2 cats. I'm a true animal lover ~ I'm that person that will stop you while you're walking your dog ^^ I'll bend down & talk to your dog in a silly voice (a high pitched goofy voice) your dog will be so happy to see me (like an old friend) wagging tail & doggie drool smile "Animals Sense Kindness & An Animals Love is Unconditional" *********************************************************... ................... I worked for SPRINT for 5 years and for INTUIT for 9 years and RSA SECURITY for 1 year. The economy shifted and jobs were slim. I was off for 1 year searching fo a job and while I was off I found how important it was (is) for me to be there for my Son ...So I made a life change and now work for the school district so that I can be on his schedule. **It was meant to be***I finally found my calling! ******* I work in a preschool with extra special children. Most being on the Autism Spectrum. I have to be honest, in some areas of my life, my patience can wear thin, BUT when it comes to these children I have been blessed with an enormous amount of patience. These precious little people can at times use up almost every ounce of patience in my being. And these same precious little people can make me smile & laugh at their innocence. I am just a big kid at heart, so I am the lucky one who goes to work and gets to sing & dance and laugh & play. I'm Blessed + And there is Julie! (Julie Julie Julie) My Buddy/co-worker Julie ^^ We Laugh (and Sometimes we want to cry) We are a great team + we really Click = I am very thankful for Julie ^^ **************************************** ........... I try to treat people with kindness (this is how I would like to be treated) There are many good and kind people in this world. And.... there are also many that need to be reminded to be kind to others. I was raised to have good manners. I am trying to instill good manners in my son. I see parents with good manners and unfortunatly, I see too many parents with bad manners. Some with rotton manners! I believe in most cases it is true, that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
