I'm a huge advocate for contra dancing. Imagine a dance where you are thrust into the arms of a new member of the opposite sex every thirty seconds. That's contra dancing. I love casually playing music with friends. I began about two years ago, and have used music as a release ever since. I enjoy listening to new bands a lot, and I am usually found at the local music shows. I hate to miss one. Silent Films. I like learning things that I consider "Life Skills". Like baking bread, bird calls, yoga, out of date sayings, story telling, and such. I finally grew out of the video game playing stage of my life about two years ago and try to learn things that will enrich my life instead of waste it. I try not to watch TV anymore either, but when there is one on I will watch it(uncontrolably). The video game thing is a little easier to quit since modern video games are losing my interest, but if there is a group of people playing an Atari, then I will usually end up playing it too. I would like to see the little obscure festivals throughout small town America. For instance: the National Grits Festival in Warwick, GA, or Lincoln Days in Lincoln, KS where they have a Lincoln look-alike contest every year ending with a parade of Lincolns and a dance. I have a friend who won that once. Although I seem shy at times, I love meeting new people, and trying to find some common ground with everyone I meet. Sex. I like waving to people I know when I walk downtown. Walking. Getting rained on. Fireplaces. I love cats and dogs, but I do not own any. I love children, but I do not own any. I like hopping fences and going where I'm not supposed too. I enjoy giving directions when I can, and I am not ashamed to ask directions. In fact, that's just one more excuse to stop and talk to people when your traveling. I prefer to take the backroads, and even gravel roads when I can. I am interested in finding a new way to live where I don't have to participate in the trivial rat race, and can continue being spontaneous for the rest of my life.
People who are genuinely genuine.
